Kid Genius Academy offers scientifically proven programs that are meticulously crafted for children ages 4-12, targeting the critical period of peak brain plasticity. The objective is not only to enhance existing cognitive abilities but also elevate intellectual capacity by simultaneously training both hemispheres of the brain.
This dual-hemisphere approach is designed to improve key skills such as math, creativity, problem-solving, and focus—competencies that are increasingly essential in today’s rapidly evolving world.
Sessions are held once a week for 90 minutes, Monday through Saturday.
Our Programs
Children ages 4-6
Developed at Oxford University, the Numicon program establishes a strong foundation for essential academic and cognitive skills needed before entering first grade. It helps children understand numbers and number systems, develop mental images, and learn mathematical language through guided and visual play.
Children ages 6-12
While mental arithmetic is often seen as the ability to perform rapid calculations without a calculator, the original HIKARI® program goes far beyond this. By incorporating the use of the abacus and the visualization and simulation of its movements, the program activates both hemispheres of the brain and fosters the development of a wide range of cognitive abilities in children during their formative years.
Limited Window of Opportunity
Maximum Cognitive Development:
During ages 4-14, children experience peak neuroplasticity - ideal time to train both hemispheres for balanced cognitive growth.
Decline in Plasticity After 14
After age 14, neuroplasticity significantly decreases - makes it harder to correct imbalances between brain hemispheres.
